Wonderful family run business! This chip truck is not one to best missed. Amazing poutine with great portion sizes. Couple minutes from Lanark and totally worth it. Customer service on top of fantastic food makes it a great experience, we will be back!

What a wonderful cantine style chip wagon/restaurant with a nice setup right up against Mal’s camping. Owner is beyond friendly and courteous what a treat to be met with someone so welcoming and polite. Terrific variety of food options and even offered us a small treat for the kids and our dogs on the house. Fantastic and would definitely return while we are staying on the camp grounds!

Dean's place is great for family and friends. Great prices, selection, and quality. I had the burger. Super good and tasty with fresh ingredients. I can barely hold the burger in my hands. The kids had the kiddy poutines and one had the chicken strips. They all devoured their food. Will come back for sure!

Came here for the first time and had the best experience I've ever had at a chip truck. The owner was an absolute delight, had great conversation with him, and had the most amazing food. I highly recommend trying the dorito pogo and the deep fried mars bar!!

Nestled in a quiet nook and snuggled in beside Mel’s Campground just outside of the small village of Lanark, we took a step back in time and enjoyed a favorite childhood treat! A home made pogo!! This pogo far surpassed our expectations for a pogo - wrapped in a fabulous deep fried batter coated with crunchy Doritos! Also serving a yummy poutine, and I heard whispers about the amazing hamburgers as we ate in a comfy outdoor setting. Fantastic experience for a lazy Sunday night dinner. Deano’s is a must try!!

Fries are so good. Crunchy bits and soft centres. Delicious!! His home made corn dogs are huge and so tasty. Fluffy batter that gets golden and crispy. You can choose hot dogs or sausages. Worth the stop every time you’re close by(or not). Good place to stop before golfing at Timber Run or Blue Heron!

I recently visited Deanos chip truck and I can’t recommend it enough! If you're in the mood for comfort food done right, this is the place to go. The poutine was absolutely amazing — the fries were crispy, the cheese curds perfectly squeaky, and the gravy was rich and flavourful without being too heavy. I also had the hamburger, which was just as fantastic. The patty was juicy and cooked to perfection, and the bun was soft yet sturdy enough to hold everything together. You can really tell they use high-quality ingredients and take the time to make everything from scratch. The service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was exactly what you'd want from a classic chip truck — casual, cozy, and full of character. Definitely a must-try spot if you’re in the area. I’ll be back for sure!
